WanHua Shopping Area 萬華商圈
There are many temples in WanHua district. Some of the temples have been built more than two hundred years ago. Longshan Temple is the most famous one. Those Night Markets are very special in sundry goods & snacks. Huaxi St. Night Market is the first international night market in Taiwan.
萬華地區有許多寺廟，一些老廟建於200年前，其中以龍山寺最著名，另外萬華地區夜市也別具特色，華西街夜市以雜貨、小吃為主，是台灣第一條國際觀光夜市。

Wufenpu Shopping Area 五分埔商圈
Despite of plentiful department stores in Taipei, Wufenpu, located across the street from Songshan Railway Station, is another prosperous shopping area. Many shops with clothes of latest Japanese, Korean, and Tai styles will surely quench your thirst for shopping.
It is said that during the Chienlung period in Chin Dynasty, He, Zhou, Shen, Du, Li families settled here. Namely, it is why residents call here "Wufenpu", a place with five divisions. Now it has become the largest clothes market in Taipei with more than a hundred clothes shops, and also the best location for street vendors to hunt the most up to date products. Every Monday, you will see vendors walking through shops with huge duffle bags, not only comparing the quality of clothes but bargaining as well.

Ximending Shopping Area 西門町商圈
The Ximending district is a popular entertainment and shopping area for the younger generation. The large designated pedestrian-only sidewalks stretch along with movie theaters, CD-shops, department stores, and boutiques with the latest fashion attracting large crowds of young people.
